The UwB campus was designed by prof. Marek Budzyński, author of projects such as The Podlasie Opera (Białystok), Philharmonic (Białystok), and the University of Warsaw Library (Warsaw). The use of materials as steel, gray architectural concrete, glass and green vegetation covering the walls and roofs of the campus gives a modern look to the buildings in fully harmony with nature.

The center of the campus is signalized with a large and artistically cracked and illuminated glass ball, from Tomasz Urbanowicz, symbolizing the Big Bang, placed on the Science Synthesis Square.
